Burgess Steel began in July 1976 as a company catering to an exclusive clientele in a distinctive market: specialty steel equipment and accounts. Our founders were former competitors who partnered to call on an elite collection of customers they had previously serviced separately. Together, they worked the "inside track" they blazed for more than a decade to successfully grow our business. From commercial building ornamental steel gates and lobby adornments, to staircases, raised floor and mezzanine framing installations, our history is full of formidable assignments posed by major construction, engineering and architectural firms.
