Trump National Clubhouse

Infamous for the way it swayed in strong wind, this prime real estate location was sorely in need of reinforcement. Burgess Steel was named as the company to fabricate and erect the steel reinforcements, minimizing the sway

Carnegie Hall

The 200th Anniversary celebration was near when renovation work revealed a building support column in the middle of a pivotal planned doorway entrance. Burgess Steel was chosen to expedite a unique load transfer framing system to facilitate the column's removal. The $10K+ per plate dinner reception was able to go on as scheduled.

Yankee Stadium

When sudden falling debris and support beams plagued the famed House That Ruth Build, Opening Day was imminent and in jeopardy. The Parks Commission of New York City summoned Burgess Steel -- not just to repair the damage -- but to assure the integrity of the entire structure with reinforcements. Only Burgess was able to respond so quickly, fabricating custom structural steel supports and putting them in place over a weekend, saving Opening Day in the Bronx.

CNBC

The plans for the new setting of the network's morning show called for a view of Manhattan from street level, seen through glass windows placed behind the anchor desk. The problem? The NBC building's support columns were conspicuously in the shot. Burgess Steel was called on to remove the columns, which involved executing a made to order steel structure to bear the weight of the entire building in order to facilitate the elimination of columns. In fact performance is key to repeat business and has carried over to other NBC projects such as CNBC (Fort Lee, NJ), MSNBC (Secaucus, NJ), CNBC corporate headquarters (Englewood Cliffs, NJ).
